We wanted to see how much juicy pineapple flavor we could cram into a beer without actually using pineapple. Our most heavily hopped beer yet; we loaded this one up with two of the most pineapple forward hops there are—Sultana and Michigan grown Chinook. El Dorado hops round out the tropical flavor profile and elicit even more Hawaiian beach vibes. But the fun doesn’t stop with hops; we chose a new yeast strain that has been developed specially to impart pineapple and mango esters. With so much hop flavor this beer needs a nice backbone, so in addition to it having the highest hopping rate of any beer we’ve done, it also has the highest rate of oats and wheat. More simply, the body on this is FULL. Big flavor. Big nose. Big body. BIG KAHUNA. Shaka Brah.
