Greetings,
Jimmy the Brewmaster will soon be brewing a new beer that is so Wisconsin-centric and stupendously creative that I doff my cheesehead in deference to his recipe wizardry. The beer is a closely guarded secret; so don’t Badger me to reveal what promises to be one of his most special brews yet.
Friday night the Marquette Golden Eagles tip-off their season and Saturday the Bucks host the Los Angeles Lakers. Our intrepid shuttle drivers will navigate traffic and drop you and your party off curbside at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. I can’t imagine a more delicious way to start a basketball evening than with a refreshing City Lights Beer!
The world’s oldest man recently passed away. I suspect the title is a curse.
Join us for “Brewmaste” this Saturday at 10AM. Kaleigh the Yogini’s total mind-body workout combines strengthening and stretching with deep breathing and relaxation. And what better way to relax afterward than with a complimentary City Lights beer and specially priced brunch options? Drop in fee is $15.00. Hope to see you get your bend and brew on – please e-mail me to reserve your spot.
Jimmy’s New England IPA will be ready in the tap room next week. Early sensory analysis indicates it will be a dank hop-bomb and taste bombityboomity! (Making up words should be illexical.) I have a suspicion that the New England IPA will be another shining star in the City Lights galaxy of great beers.
The City Lights Gift Card sale starts today. Buy a $25 card for $20, buy a $50 card for $40, buy a $100 card for $80, buy a $200 card for $160. We are keenly aware of how many great beers are out there and deeply appreciative that so many of you choose to enjoy a City Lights beer. Our brewers are zealous, our distributors incredible and we are profoundly grateful for the privilege to be featured at many fine retailers, restaurants and bars.
With gratitude,
Robin
