Greetings,
The home of New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was burglarized during the Super Bowl. There was no sign of forced entry. I am speculating that the thieves used Rob’s Gronk-house-key.
Join is this Saturday when the incredible Jay Mathes https://www.youtube.com/user/jaymathesmusic takes to the City Lights stage.
Jimmy the Brewmaster and his team have been logging long hours as we rollout the new Coconut Porter and Mosaic Pale Ale 6-pack 12/ounce cans. Look for them in your favorite establishment soon. And a special thanks to Dan Graziano, Josh Zimmerman and the entire Beer Capitol team for their tireless work in bringing City Lights to the retail or on-premise establishment of your choice.
Despite the hoopla surrounding Groundhog Day and six more weeks of winter, spring is right around the corner. Yesterday we received our permit for the bus for our shuttles to the Brewers’ games. We’ve already planned our Opening Day extravaganza and will have a summer-long festival on tap for you in our idyllic beer garden. And Jimmy the Brewmaster has a special treat in store as he will be brewing what I believe will be the perfect hot weather lager.
The City Lights team rallied after the December fire destroyed our kitchen. I am grateful that these passionate and professional servers and bartenders adjusted to our “new normal” without food and continued to deliver exceptional guest experiences. We are hopeful to resume food service before the Brewers’ Opening Day.
The festival season is upon us. Look for City Lights at a wide variety of festivals and tastings across the state and across state lines as we expand to Minnesota and Illinois. Exciting times! This week will be a record for our shipments to our great distributor partners.
Thanks for being with us on this special journey.
Have the best weekend before Valentines Day ever!
Robin
