Next Wednesday, 3.14, is International Pi day (3.14159……) To commemorate this circular phenomenon, all pints in the City Lights tap room will be $3.14 from 4-6PM. Stop in for a round!
Of all the things I like about Switzerland, their flag is a big plus.
And while we are in Europe, Jimmy the Brewmaster’s next magical creation is a Belgian Wit. This will be a great summer beer. It will also be the perfect brunch beer paired with, of course, Belgium waffles.
Ben the Chef is back in his element and we’re now serving a limited menu until our new food kitchen arrives. The debut of his Parmesan Truffle fries is a new crowd favorite. And next Wednesday, each entrée will be accompanied by a complimentary slice of pie (in honor of Pi-day!)
Things will be happening at City Lights this weekend. Friday fish fries are again being served and we have birthday parties, bachelorette parties, bachelor parties and fantasy draft day parties scheduled. Stop in and hang with some of the coolest, like-minded people in the inter-galactical universe and enjoy our delicious array of craft beers brewed with passion, love and skill.
The incomparable Jay Mathes http://jaymathes.com/ takes to the stage Saturday at 7PM. Jay is a fabulously talented singer-songwriter-guitarist from Chicago. He is vibrant, thoughtful and provocative in melody, harmony and word and is often compared to John Mayer (despite the fact that he is incomparable.)
