Greetings,
Jimmy the Brewmaster’s Mexican Lager is a enjoying wildly surging popularity. This delicious Mexican-style Lager has a special twist with the late addition of Motueka hops in the brewing process to accentuate flavor and aroma notes of fresh lime. If you haven’t yet tasted the delicious craft lager, stop by Casa Del Rio in Waukesha on Thursday, April 12th from 6-9PM for their City Lights Mexican Lager release party. And if you can’t make it to Casa Del Rio, the Craft Beer Cellar in Pewaukee is having a Mexican Lager release party On Saturday, April 14th from 1-5PM.
With our expansion into Illinois and Minnesota and our growing sales in Wisconsin, this business has become exponentially more complicated. Fortunately, we have some incredible planning resources at City Lights – even our white boards are remarkable.
This Saturday, 4.14, is Milwaukee Day. To celebrate, on Saturday we are giving our first 414 tap-room guests a complimentary City Lights can glass with the purchase of a pint. (Limit one per person – complimentary can glass that is – you can have more than one pint but always drink responsibly.)
People are always asking me what the secret is to Jimmy the Brewmaster’s Coconut Porter. Is it that he personally and lovingly roasts the coconut or is it that we only use locally sourced coconuts?
City Lights’ fan-favorite Paddygrass: https://www.paddygrass.com/ takes to the City Lights stage this Saturday at 7PM. Derek and his band mates are simply incredible playing a blend of Irish, Bluegrass and Gospel music. Send Derek some virtual love and maybe he will wear his kilt on Saturday!
Congratulations to Mary for winning the “Master of the Masters” contest and scoring a $250.00 City Lights gift card for her Nostradamus-like selection of Jordan Spieth, Ricky Fowler and Justin Thomas.
“Mansplainers” have ruined it for men like me who are genuinely good at explaining things to women.
I have had the pleasure of working with Cory DeWalt and her CYD Design team www.cyddesign.com for quite some time. Cory recently celebrated her 20th year of incredible designs with a graphic gathering of friends and associates at City Lights.
A special thanks to the men and women who tirelessly work to sell, deliver and merchandise City Lights beers and make sure your favorite beverage is available at your preferred bar, restaurant or retail store. Cheers to the best distributors ever!
Spring is coming and so is our new beer garden!
