Thanks to all who helped make May one of our best months ever! We are still trying to determine what was the dominant driver of last month’s success. Was it our idyllic riverside setting and chill ambiance? Or maybe some of the most delightful beers you’ve ever tasted? Or, quite possibly, the friendliest and most eager to please hospitality team ever assembled? Maybe the perfect food accompaniments? Who knows – but our heartfelt thanks and passionate pledge to continue to work zealously to earn the privilege of your business. And now that summer weather is actually here…
The demand for Jimmy the Brewmaster’s Hazy IPA has outstripped supply after earning a 96-point rating, a “Superlative” designation and a Platinum Medal. City Lights Hazy IPA was rated by tastings.com as the #1 IPA in the world and was their 11th highest rated beer in the last five years: http://www.tastings.com/Beer-Review/City-Lights-Brewing-Co-Hazy-IPA-USA-05-02-2019.aspx. We’ve got triple batches in the fermenters and should be canning and kegging in two weeks! Patience, my friends. Patience.
Today’s baseball game is early – first pitch is at 1:10PM. We’ll be opening at 9AM for our thirsty and hungry friends. A delicious City Lights beer, lunch and the shuttle is a great way to celebrate the day. After the games ends, Happy Hour begins.
Friday Fish Fries and baseball go (pun intended) hand-in-glove. We open at 11AM on Friday and Benny and the Chefs will be on deck and ready to go to bat for your dining pleasure. Our guests love the convenience of our complimentary shuttles to baseball home games. With free parking and a short five-minute ride to the front gate, the City Lights shuttle is a great way to check out America’s pastime. First pitch is 7:10PM on Friday.

Jimmy the Brewmaster’s innovative Belgian Witt has been released. This deliciously refreshing beer marries old school with new school with the addition of pink guava puree for a delightfully balanced, fruity finish.
Our team will be out and about this weekend sampling delicious City Lights beers and making new friends. Alex will be St. Paul at the Summer Beer Festival. Billy willy be serving up goodness at the Waukesha Food Truck and Beer Festival. We will also be at multiple events in the Chicago-land area including the Lombard Ale Fest. We LOVE sharing the City Lights magic and LOVE meeting beer lovers.
Sunday the ballgame starts at 1:10PM. Relax to the max at City Lights on Sunday afternoons. A lazy summer afternoon pairs perfectly with our delicious beers. Come and taste the excitement.
