Greetings,
It was an incredible weekend at City Lights. Tom Brusky and his band-mates were so entertaining on Saturday that we are bringing them back for a three-hour encore performance Saturday evening. Friday night, the every-popular and always energetic Cowboy Up takes the stage. And on Wednesday, Pat McCurdy brings his bawdy balladeering to City Lights for a mid-week entertainment extravaganza.
When the Carolina Panthers meet the Jacksonville Jaguars, will the players arm lynx in a display of feline solidarity?
We softly rolled out Ben the Chef’s new menu over the weekend to the gastronomic delight of our guests. Fish tacos stole the spotlight! The City Lights American Pale Ale braised wings were amazing. The charcuterie platter looked fantastic. The short rib, ham and beer cheese and ahi tuna sliders were otherworldly! And those are just a sampling of the culinary magic happening at City Lights. Come, taste for yourself.
It was an honor to host Marquette University’s “M Club” Reunion on Saturday. We had given the City Lights Express shuttle service some much needed time off after a busy Brewers’ season, but the “4-wheel wonder” is getting excited for the upcoming basketball season. Complimentary shuttle service to Milwaukee Bucks and Marquette University basketball games begins soon. With the downtown construction and the incredibly expensive “special event” parking, City Lights is a game-changer for game-goers. Bucks tip-off next Friday, 10/20.
Jimmy the Brewmaster and the brewing team are incredibly appreciative of the kind words and kudos so many of you have shared regarding the quality of City Lights beers. The team has a passion for beers and a robust commitment to making your every sip of City Lights beer your favorite one.
Until yesterday, I never knew that a line coach in the NFL actually snorted lines.
There is an incredible array of entertainment and hospitality options in Milwaukee. The entire team at City Lights is profoundly proud that so many of you have chosen to spend time with us during this unseasonably warm fall season. We will continue to work with a zealous passion to earn the privilege of your business.
And while we’re focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences at City Lights, the Beer Capitol team is tirelessly working to ensure your favorite City Lights beer is available at the location of your choice – whether it be your favorite tavern, liquor store, restaurant or grocery store. Special thanks to Dan Graziano, Josh Zimmerman and the Beer Capitol team of dedicated men and women with whom we are honored to call “partners.”
Cheers,
Robin
