Anthony Scaramucci lasted 9 and one-half days longer on the job than did the Coconut Porter “S’more” Firkin we released Friday. This Friday we tap our Blackberry Session IPA Firkin.
Our Coconut Porter received rave reviews at last Saturday’s Milwaukee Brew Fest. Thanks to the incredible work of Damian Dohr and Alison Hanrahan from Beer Capitol, City Lights beers will be available at The Wisconsin State Fair at locations including the Micro, Slims, Knuckleheads, Rupenas, Robert’s, and the WI products pavilion.
This weekend’s entertainment schedule at City Lights includes Jackson Park Jazz on Thursday, Scott Gardner on Friday night and the amazing bluegrass sounds of Paddygrass Saturday. All performances start at 7PM.
If you haven’t stopped by City Lights on a lazy weekend, you don’t know what you are missing. Our brunches are phenomenal! The setting is idyllic! And oh, the beers….

Ben the Chef continues to amaze our guests with his epicurean delights. We are in the final stages of rolling-out his new menu. His spicy chicken sandwich has just the right amount of spice – it is not Spicer like Sean – but spicy non-the-less. (How about some love for including two ex-White House Communications Directors references in a single e-mail update?)
The Milwaukee Brewers unlikely quest to capture a baseball world championship resumes tonight and continues with a night game tomorrow and an afternoon game on Thursday. Our shuttle is becoming extremely popular and is a great way to “take you out to the ballgame.” Hope to see you. Go Brewers!
